Caroline at 4 months

Bubbles

Gavin aka Mr. Labeler

This is a football.

This is a frog.

This is my pool.

He points at everything and wants you to tell him what it is. About 100 times a day, I have to tell him every Sesame Street character, his family members, numbers 1-10 and animals.

Caroline at 3 months

Look What We Did This Weekend!

Jeff and I spent the weekend assembling this swing set. We are very proud of our accomplishment and are still happily married too!

Goodbye Tonsils and Adenoids!

Graeme had his tonsils and adenoids removed on May 27th. It has been a long list of difficulties that lead to this outcome. I am already seeing alot of improvement in his speech, appetite, and overall demeanor. The recovery process hasn't been fun but it is now +12 days since the surgery and he is finally feeling good!

I found a book at the library called, "Goodbye, Tonsils" that was really cute. It is written by a little girl that gets her tonsils out and she describes her experience. Graeme loved the book. Her parents give her a party and a cake so I made Graeme a cake too.

This was in the recovery room. He had to sleep awhile before we took him home. He did very well and we were able to leave by 9 that morning.

I had to make him eat and drink so we started with Gogurt. They were a lifesaver. I think we went through a whole box from Sam's.

Caroline is 2 months old!

Here is her cute little outfit from Aunt Lynn. I was never a fan of large bows on an infant especially one that doesn't have much hair but I can't help it. I think she looks so cute in them!

The Adventures of Gavin

Gavin has learned how to jump on Graeme's trampoline and loves it! Yes, it has caused tension between the brothers!
Gavin also walked in the grass for the first time. He stayed on the patio for awhile then walked around the perimeter of the patio before getting the courage to tackle the grass.

Daily life at the McElroy house

In the second picture, I was trying to get a picture of them in their matching shirts. I wasn't able to get that little one to cooperate very well!

Our Little Ted Williams

Here are some pictures from Graeme's first t-ball game. His team is the Cardinals and he is #9 after the legendary Red Sox player Ted Williams. He really enjoys it.

New Pictures of Little Sister

I guess my camera isn't sophisticated enough to capture her red hair and light blue eyes!

Easter

This is the first year that we have dyed eggs. Graeme had lots of fun!

It was quite an adventure getting everyone dressed up and out the door for church for the first time as a party of five. Graeme ended up getting sick that morning and I got sick that afternoon with the flu. I honestly didn't care if everyone was smiling or looking at the camera. We can just look back at these and have a memory of Easter in 2008.

Caroline's Heroes at Fire Station 30

We went to the fire station and saw the firemen who delivered Caroline at our house. I made them a meal and wanted to thank them in person. They were so wonderful. I plan on keeping in touch with them on a regular basis. She will probably have her 1st birthday celebration at the station.

Welcome Caroline Rose!

Caroline Rose McElroy born at 9:00 p.m. on February 27, 2008
6 lbs. 12 oz and 20.5 in long

Here is Caroline with her two proud big brothers. It was quite a challenge getting the 3 of them in a picture by myself!

We aren't sure yet if she will be a blue-eyed redhead. Everyone seems to see some red in her hair but will it be enough to be considered a true redhead? Jeff is remaining hopeful. Her eyes look very blue. The boys never had eyes this blue as a baby.
