My Own Visa Commercial

Yes, I am sick and yes, the 2 youngest kids were very cranky so I guess they weren't feeling well either. By the time the afternoon rolled around, I was laying down on the couch. Graeme and Gavin had their own agenda of entertainment...

Roll of toilet paper: $.50

Time spent cleaning this up: 2 minutes

20 minutes of uninterrupted rest and recoop time: Priceless

Another Failed Attempt...

to get a picture of everyone looking at the camera. Caroline is the biggest challenge!

Graeme's First Day of Pre-K!

He got the afternoon which is 12:30-3:00. I had originally picked morning but it was filled up. I am actually liking this arrangement better than I had thought I would. I have Gavin taking his nap right after lunch so I don't have to interrupt his nap to pick up Graeme. We can do what we want to in the mornings without having to rush around and get everyone fed and in the car by 8:00.

He was so excited. By the second day, he informed me that he wanted to walk into the school by himself.

This is his teacher, Mrs. Stephens. She was there when I was teaching and I was excited he got her.

A Special Bond

There is a mutual affection between the 2 of them. He always gets her to smile and laugh and he loves talking to her. They are so cute together!

Sunday Afternoon Bike Ride

Caroline doesn't look very happy in these pictures. I think it is too bright outside for her to open her eyes completely.

The 3 Musketeers!

Caroline's Eye Surgery

Caroline had her eye surgery one week ago to correct her cross-eyed vision. Many prayers were answered as everything went well and we can't be happier with the results. Everyday she seems to focus on more things and interact with her toys. I can only imagine how overwhelming it must be for her to be seeing all this stuff at once! Here is a picture of her in the recovery room and the first day home. Her eyes were very puffy but that went away by the evening.

This is the 2nd day:
